Here we are. From left, Kristi, Suzanne, Pat, me, Stephanie, and Emily. Missing are Tyeisha and Maria, who did not make it to the photo shoot.
This part of the photo shoot went pretty smoothly. We posed, Dave took pictures, we were done.
The second part, with the twins, was slightly more energetic. Forget the part about them posing in front of the cases, looking at the cookies... We tried that. No deal. We ended up bribing them with cookies, lots of cookies. (I don't even want to know how their parents got them to bed last night...). Two of the best shots are here.
Irving looks innocent enough, but this was one of over a hundred shots, many showing the kids two-fisted with a cookie in each hand. I think it was a contest between who could move the fastest. The kids, or Dave and the camera.
And I don't know why I thought I would be able to trade a half-eaten cookie for a new one. They wanted both!
Those are shortbread elephants, by the way. I know we'll probably irritate some Auburn fans if we put a photo of an "Alabama" theme cookie on the cover of our cookbook, but this is Tuscaloosa, after all...
Let us know what you think. There might be some photos in the pile with the cookies upside-down, where you cannot see the scripted "A". Do we worry about it or not?

WOW those worker bees especially Emily look really sharp. You need more pictures of them.
