We had one of everything this week.
Three weddings.
Three different types of flowers.
Three entirely different looks.
This cake had fresh flowers.
The look was elegant and old fashioned, with peonies, hydrangeas, roses and orchids.
Earlier today, the cake had gum paste flowers. Roses and blossoms in different shades of blue.
The look was slightly more modern for a church reception. The cake was topped with a clean mirrored monogram that went perfectly with the gum paste flowers.
Yesterday the wedding cake had buttercream flowers. Bright pink on floating cakes piped in lime and ivory.
The look this time was fun and upbeat.
And for the lover of buttercream? A dream come true.
