This idyllic setting is at a catfish farm in Greensboro, Alabama.
It was a full one-hour-and-fifteen-minutes drive from the shop, but it was one of the prettiest outdoor country wedding venues I have ever seen.
The reception was to be in a lovely new building, two floors, simply but tastefully decorated. And WELL-AIR-CONDITIONED.
So what type of cake does one have at a place like this?
An elegant one with lace and cake jewelry. Lots of buttons and a big fondant bow.
And the groom's cake? Well, it's not THAT far from Tuscaloosa and the University of Alabama...
Miller's Catfish Farm, about eight miles past downtown Greensboro on Highway 69 South.
