We've been busy.
We're training new staff.
We just started a new business venture (the consignment shop).
And we launched a new website.
And it's football season, which means lots of extra cookies to be decorated.
All of these things require my time and attention, time that would otherwise be spent decorating cakes.
Did I mention that we've been busy?
Luckily, I have a good staff. Pat, Rain, Mallory, Suzanne and Bri have taken up the slack. Along with our new "guys" Cody and Porter.
So here are some of the cakes that were done at the shop recently, mostly without me.

Yep, we go through a lot of fondant for decorations. Along with chocolate ganache, piping gel, and so much buttercream that I am seriously considering getting a larger mixer so we can make bigger batches.
Next week is UA Homecoming AND Kentuck weekend. Then three home games in November, plus Thanksgiving. After that, there's Dickens Downtown and Christmas.
I'm starting to look forward to January.
