The Get Back To Scratch contest ends in less than a week!. Woo hoo!
We've entered our made-from-scratch Alabama-themed shortbread cookies as our signature item in the contest. BTW, opening day at Bryant-Denny Stadium is only 19 days away. Roll Tide.
Starting Thursday (and for the last four days) the sponsors will remove all the rankings from the website and replace them with a countdown clock.
To build suspense...
We'll just keep voting and encouraging our friends, family and customers to keep voting, which is a whole lot easier to do with only a few days left in the contest.
While anything can happen in the last days of the contest, it helps to know we're in still the lead after 87 days.
Ninety-three days is a very long time.

Today is day 87 of the voting marathon, officially known as the Get Back To Scratch Contest. We're competing to win a big new mixer for the bakery. And while the voting ends on Sunday, August 21 at 10:59 CDT, the winners will not be announced until Tuesday SEPTEMBER 6.
Get Back To Scratch is a movement that supports and encourages the passion of bakers and chefs. Folks who invest the time and materials bake with real flour and sugar and eggs instead of pre-prepared and par-baked items. It was created by Hobart, the folks who make large commercial mixers. The movement is supported and promoted by an online network of culinary and baking professionals, including Buddy Vallestro, TLC's Cake Boss.
Vote for us at http://www.getbacktoscratch.com/directory/profile/?id=268 through August 21.
