Pretty Roses

Roses2We were asked to make some of our signature rose cupcakes for a rehearsal dinner last week.

"Whites and pastels" were the only direction we got.

Pat, our QUEEN of roses made them like she always does, using a several *piles* of buttercream in every pastel shade from yellow to pink.

Little did we know, they would match the decor perfectly.

The event was at the groom's family's residence.

And as I passed the stadium Saturday afternoon on my way home, I saw all the vans and delivery trucks standing by.

I couldn't help wonder...who made the wedding cake?
