Step 1: Check the shop out. Visit the store and look around. Is this the kind of stuff you have? Look at the prices and get a feel for how much your stuff might be worth.
Step 2: Go home and go through your cupboards. Pick out the things you no longer want or need and put them in a pile. Clean items if dirty and shine them if tarnished. Plug in items that require electricity to be sure they work. If an item has multiple parts, be sure they are all there.
Step 3: Call to make an appointment to bring your items in. We will ask you to fill out a consignment contract if you are a new vendor. You may also box up your things and drop them off if you fill out a consignment contract and leave a contact number. We will call to let you know which items we're able take, and which items you need to pick up. If you don't pick up the unwanted items within the week, we WILL THROW THEM OUT.
Step 4: We will price the items and put them up for sale. Our price point is about 20-percent below the lowest BUY IT NOW price on eBay for the exact or a similar item. We reserve the right to discount an item that has excessive wear or is damaged but still usable. The typical consignment period is 90 days, but we reserve the right to put items on sale at our discretion.
Step 5: We cut checks for vendors on the 15th of the month for items sold in the previous month. The checks are issued and mailed directly from the bank to the address on your consignment contract.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged items. We are not responsible for checks lost in the mail (the bank will notify us of a un-cashed check 90 days after issue).
